About David Passino

David “Dave” R. Passino has focused his practice exclusively on representing property owners and management companies in commercial and residential landlord tenant disputes, defending fair housing claims, defending mold claims, bankruptcy litigation, and civil trial and appellate practice.

Previously, Dave was with the law firm of Lueder, Larkin and Hunter as the managing attorney of the landlord/tenant section of the firm.  Prior to that, Dave was the managing partner at The Passino Firm and prior to that Mr. Passino spent 17 years at the law firm of Fowler, Hein, Cheatwood, Passino, & Williams, P.A., focusing exclusively on handling landlord tenant disputes. Since 1989 Dave’s extensive experience includes handling thousands of civil cases including four reported cases involving landlord tenant law, one reported case in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and three reported cases in the Georgia Court of Appeals.

Dave received his Bachelor of Science degree in Public Affairs from Indiana University in 1984 and his law degree from Ohio Northern University School of Law in 1988. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia where he is Trial Certified and a Member of the Bankruptcy Section. He is also a member of the Atlanta Apartment Association.

Considered a noted resource, Dave has conducted numerous training seminars and Continuing Legal Education Seminars concerning landlord tenant law and fair housing practices. He has also authored articles for trade publications regarding bankruptcy issues and management rights as well as making a guest appearance on the Laymen’s Lawyer television program.
